Hulu's The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Cast Photos, Trailers and Episode Release Dates

Hulu has released the trailer for its new documentary series The secret lives of Mormon wives.

The docuseries follows a group of influential Mormon mothers behind the hashtag #MomTok. While the group gained notoriety on social media, their world collapsed when they became embroiled in a headline-making swinger sex scandal. Their sisterhood is shaken to its core and their faith, friendship and reputation are tested.

“I love the Mormon Church, but there are a lot of rules we have to follow,” says Mikayla Matthews in the trailer.

Another star said: “We were raised to be housewives to men and to fulfill all their wishes.”

Mayci Neeley says in the preview that her goal in using social media is to “break the stigma of gender roles in Mormon culture.”

One of the husbands says he is “afraid” of the impact her new fame might have on her because “there are rules in the Mormon Church for a reason.”

When will the episodes premiere on Hulu?

All eight episodes of The Secret Life of Mormon Wives will be released on Hulu on Friday, September 6th.
