Free Admission: American Legion offers free admission to today's championship game

MANCHESTER, N.H. – Manchester Sweeney Post 2 offers Free admission for today's American Legion Northeast Regional Championship game.

The 1 p.m. contest at Gill Stadium is a rematch between Cumberland, RI, and Hudson, MA, who faced off in a winners' bracket final on Friday in which the Massachusetts representatives defeated their southern opponents 4-3.

Hudson beat W. Hartford, Connecticut, 3-2 in the semifinals of the double knockout tournament on Saturday, and Cumberland bounced back with an 8-1 victory over South Burlington, Vermont, to earn revenge in the championship game of this week's double knockout tournament.

Since Hudson has not lost yet, the two teams will face each other again at 4 p.m. in an all-or-nothing game if Cumberland wins the 1 p.m. game.
