Berkeley County man arrested for child pornography

The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) reported via email the arrest of a man for possession of child pornography.

A tip from the National Missing and Exploited Children (NMEC) led to an investigation by the Berkeley County Sheriff's Department.

Search warrants were obtained, which led to the seizure of incriminating evidence and the arrest of a man named Stephen Rex Chris Coleman, a 37-year-old white man.

The investigation and arrest took place in Martinsburg, West Virginia.

Coleman was charged with two counts of distributing or displaying material depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
