NDLEA intercepts drugs hidden in spare parts and packaging

Officials of the National Agency for Drug Trafficking Law Enforcement have countered attempts by drug cartels to exploit the recent protests to expand their activities.

The agency's Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, made the announcement on Sunday in videos shared on X.com.

According to Babafemi, the cartels wanted to exploit the protests to expand their “markets” over land, sea and air.

However, NDLEA agents, equipped with personnel, intelligence information, cutting-edge technology and sniffer dogs, were hot on their heels.

Sharing videos, he wrote: “The drug cartels thought they could exploit the protests to rapidly shift their 'markets' from all fronts: land, sea and air, but #ndlea_nigeria confronted them with personnel, intelligence, technology and sniffer dogs alike. Here are some of the results.”
