BJP rejects Hindenburg report and claims Congress wants to destabilise India with a conspiracy

BJP leader Rajeev Chandrashekhar has condemned the Hindenburg report, which alleges irregularities by SEBI chairman Madhabi Buch, calling it a “conspiracy” aimed at destabilising India's financial system. Chandrashekhar claims the allegations are baseless and driven by nefarious motives.

Speaking to ANI, Chandrashekhar accused the Congress of constantly lying and seeking foreign help to undermine India's financial stability. “This is a conspiracy to discredit our financial system and the regulator SEBI,” he said, stressing that India's economy remains strong under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.

BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi echoed similar sentiments, suggesting that the Congress party was working with foreign organisations to create unrest. He cited instances where foreign reports coincided with parliamentary sessions, suggesting a wider intention to create unrest. Meanwhile, the Adani Group dismissed Hindenburg's new allegations as malicious and manipulative.
