In a video posted to Instagram, Blanchard and Urker stood next to a series of balloons, one of which they seemingly popped to reveal pink confetti. “Honey, I'm your mommy,” Blanchard said as she looked into the camera, followed by “I'm your daddy,” Urker said. Then they both revealed together, “You're a girl!” The happy parents will welcome their first child in 2025.

The caption of the post read: “The moment you've all been waiting for… It's a girl! Ken and I are overjoyed and so excited to start our family. We are so grateful to our friends, neighbors and family for coming to our party today! We also want to thank you for your love and support!” The video was preceded by photos from the gender reveal party.

Netizens congratulated the couple, with one user on the platform writing, “I'm so happy for you girl you definitely deserve this. You and Ken congratulations mommy and daddy to be,” while another user wrote, “Congratulations on your baby girl Gypsy and Ken!!” A third user wrote, “Guys she looks happy. Let her be for once, bygones are bygones.” Another user blessed the couple, writing, “God bless your pregnancy and your baby girl and you on your journey into motherhood, may it be a rebirth of what you were always meant to be.”

The parents-to-be were engaged but called off their engagement in 2019 while Blanchard went to prison for her affair with her mother's mother. She later married Ryan Anderson in 2022 but filed for divorce after her release in December last year. Urker moved to Louisiana in June to be closer to Blanchard.

Blanchard reveals what inspires her to become a mother

Blanchard revealed that she was inspired by her stepmother Kristy on her journey to motherhood. She said, “I want to be nice, so my kids can come to me and ask me for advice, just like my stepmom.” She also praised her stepmom's role as a mother figure in her life. She added, “I've seen how she's raised her kids – and I think she's a great mother,” as reported by the New York Daily News.

Blanchard expressed her desire to be the same presence in her young daughter's life as her stepmother. She also wants to be the kind of mother who pursues her dreams while fulfilling her children's dreams.
