UFC Vegas 95 video: Serghei Spivac gives Marcin Tybura a nasty armbar in the rematch

Serghei Spivac took revenge on Marcin Tybura.

Spivac and Tybura headlined UFC Vegas 95 at APEX on Saturday night in a rematch of their first meeting in February 2020 – which Tybura won. The action started with a quick combination from Spivac before the fight went to the mat. Spivac lost his position, which led to Tybura taking over top position.

From there, Spivac skillfully rolled into a beautiful armbar after some patience and Tybura verbally surrendered, ending the fight.

The official finish time was 1:44 of the opening lap.

“Polar Bear” returned for the first time in 11 months after losing to Ciryl Gane by knockout at UFC Paris last September. Spivac has defeated four of his last five opponents, including Derrick Lewis in his first-ever UFC headliner in February 2023.

After his victory, Spivac had no name to mention, but challenged all the heavyweights who were ahead of him in the rankings.

Tybura was eliminated in two of his last three appearances.
