A Pennsylvania man was arrested after allegedly crashing into a woman's car and then intentionally running over her and her neighbors with his vehicle, the Lehigh County district attorney said.

Investigators believe 55-year-old Rajgion Davis intentionally struck and killed a man with his car in the 1300 block of North 14th Street in Whitehall Township.

Eyewitnesses told police they saw Davis pull into a parking lot on Friday, August 9, then ram the empty car of a woman named Francesca Washington and drive away.

People who witnessed the incident said Washington came out to look at the damage to her vehicle when two of her neighbors approached her, officials said. Then Davis came back and drove his car directly into the group.

Washington suffered serious injuries in the accident and is still in the hospital, officials said.

One of the people standing next to Washington was 53-year-old Stephen Fistner, who succumbed to his injuries.

Davis' car was inoperable after the crash, but he was seen walking away from the scene, police said. Witnesses followed him and filmed him with their cellphones.

After being arrested by police officers arriving at the scene, Davis stated, according to officers, that his intention was to injure and kill Washington.

Davis is charged with manslaughter and attempted murder. He is currently being held without bail pending his preliminary hearing on August 16.

The investigation is ongoing, but a motive is not yet known, officials said.
