Is there a response from the government?

Aware of the government-level data leak, Pratama Persadha, Chairman of Cissrec Cyber Security Research Institute, said that apart from the leaked data, there was a lot of other data, both in the form of plain text and in the form of text processed using cryptographic methods.

The data uploaded on the Breach forums is known to contain sample data with 128 ASNs from various agencies in Aceh province. He also stated that his party conducted random checks on 13 ASNs whose names were listed by contacting them via WhatsApp.

At the time of writing (8/11), there has been no official confirmation from the BKN and the Ministry of Communication and Information regarding the alleged ASN data leak. Cissrec has called on the government to establish a data protection authority for Indonesian citizens to prevent leaks that have become increasingly common recently.
