Bam Adebayo reveals Kevin Durant's reaction to viral sleep post

Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo is ready to return home with a gold medal around his neck and make countless memories at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

One of those moments shared with the public was a viral Instagram story in which Adebayo caught teammate Kevin Durant sleeping on the team bus. The image exploded on social media and fans were eager to see how the Phoenix Suns forward reacted. 

Although Adebayo isn't sure what Durant thinks of the photo, he made his comical intentions clear.

“I don't know yet. I'm going to repost it anyway,” Adebayo told Overtime. “I don't care, it doesn't matter. We're like a big AAU team.”

When asked if Team USA was the most fun group he's ever played on, Adebayo replied, “Oh man, I would say this is one of the most experienced and talented teams I've ever been on.”

With a roster topped by Durant, LeBron James and Stephen Curry, this is arguably the strongest version of Team USA in history. Some would argue for the 1992 “Dream Team” or the 2008 “Redeem Team,” but given his role in 2024, that's a no-brainer for the Heat center.

Coach Steve Kerr decided to rely on the experienced superstars later in the tournament, but Adebayo played a crucial role in the second unit earlier in the summer.
