UFC Vegas 95 was heavily derided in the run-up to Fight Night, as the tournament didn't have much to offer on paper and numerous fighters were sidelined due to injuries.

You'd be forgiven for checking out early if you tuned in at all, because the beginning of the show was mixed at best. While Youssef Zalal put on a strong performance and Karol Rosa vs. Pannie Kianzad was an entertaining battle, there just wasn't much happening.

Fortunately, the top half of the main card came through and showed off, starting with Chepe Mariscal, who dominated a tough but outmatched Damon Jackson over three rounds. Two 30-25 scores (the third judge scored it 30-26) showed just how dominant Chepe had been, although missing weight for the fight denied him any bonus money.

Instead, the UFC opted to award three singles appearances as bonus money on a night that didn't award Fight of the Night. Sorry, Rosa vs. Kianzad, no post-fight bonus for you.

However, Serghei Spivac received a Performance of the Night award for his first-round armbar submission of Marcin Tybura. The fight was a rematch where Spivac avenged an earlier loss and improved his record to 4-1 after his last five fights.

Zalal, for his rear-naked choke finish against Jarno Errens, and Toshiomi Kazama, who took down Charalampos Grigoriou with a triangle after being knocked down early in the second round, secured the two remaining performance bonuses.

As it turns out, those were the only three wins on the ten-fight card. All three bonus winners will receive an additional $50,000 in addition to show/win money and equipment money.
