Release date for season 35 of The Simpsons on Disney+ announced, exclusive episodes available soon

The latest season of The Simpsons will be released on Disney+ in October, with exclusive episodes to follow shortly thereafter

The Simpsons Season 35 will be released later in October on Disney+, and exclusive new episodes will also be released on the platform soon! The Simpsons is currently preparing to return to screens this fall with season 36 of the long-running animated series, but season 35 of the series is currently only available to stream via Hulu. However, that will change very soon, as Disney has announced that The Simpsons Season 35 will be available to stream on Disney+ from the end of October and some new additions are also planned for the streaming service.

While The Simpsons' panel during the D23 weekend, it was officially announced that The Simpsons Season 35 will stream on Disney+ on October 2. This includes the 18 episodes of the season that previously aired on Fox, but that's not all that's in store for us this year. There are also four new exclusive special episodes planned for the streaming service. These four new episodes will be released later this year and won't be available to watch anywhere else.

The Simpsons: The new special episodes on Disney+

These four exclusive episodes are titled “The Past and the Furious,” “Yellow Planet,” and “O C'mon All Ye Faithful.” The last of these specials is a two-part Christmas special that will be released on December 17th to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the first Christmas special that started it all. However, release dates for the other two Disney+ exclusive specials have not been announced at the time of this publication.

As for the timing of the next season, which will be released later this fall, The Simpsons Season 36 is currently scheduled to air on Fox on Sunday, September 8. If you want to catch up on everything else in the meantime, you can watch the first 34 seasons of the series and The Simpsons Movie are currently available to stream on Disney+. The long-running animated series is teased as follows:
