LeBron James and the U.S. men's basketball team won their fifth consecutive Olympic gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics after defeating France 98-87 on Saturday.

Now it’s time for the gold medalists to celebrate.

Stephen Curry wore a sweatshirt with the words “Good night” emblazoned in French during postgame celebrations, a reference to the celebration he made while sinking three-pointers in the fourth quarter of Saturday's gold medal game.

“I'm in the club now. I'm not a rookie anymore,” Curry said of winning the gold medal in his Olympic debut.

“I feel phenomenal,” James said after the win. “We got the gold… that's what we came here for and we did it.”

Anthony Edwards joked after the game that Curry had “just arrived in Paris.”

“About three days ago, but we are so happy he got here,” Edwards said.

Curry, whose three-point shooting was relatively limited during the group stage, helped the U.S. national team win the gold medal game by shooting 8 of 13 from behind the three-point line.

Men's basketball tournament MVP James and the rest of his teammates celebrated with champagne after receiving their medals.

USA Basketball hopes the celebrations continue tomorrow after the Olympic women's team faces France in its own gold medal game on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. ET.
