The Octagon has returned to Nevada for tonight's UFC Vegas 95 event, a ten-fight schedule headlined by Marcin Tybura vs. Serghei Spivac 2.

The highly anticipated heavyweight rematch proved to be a short-lived affair. Serghei Spivac was able to take the fight to the ground early and promptly moved on to an armbar submission that forced Marcin Tybura to submit (see here). With tonight's impressive victory, “The Polar Bear” has now won four of his last five Octagon appearances.

UFC Vegas 95 was co-headlined by a featherweight bout pitting Damon Jackson against Chepe Mariscal. The fight, contested at catchweight after Mariscal missed weight, ended in a one-sided affair as Mariscal was able to overpower “Action” and earn a unanimous decision victory.

Following the conclusion of today's event, UFC officials announced at the post-fight press conference that three fighters would take home performance bonuses.
